 In accordance with article 38, caput of federal law 9610/1998, as well as article 14 of the Berne Convention, promulgated in Brazil through decree 75699/1975, the owner of this artistic work, when commercializing it, must transfer it to the artist or his successors, as a resale right, the amount corresponding to 50% (fifty) of the profit that may be earned with this new commercial transaction (resale) within a period of 30 days. If the author does not receive his resale right within the stipulated period, the seller is considered depositary of the amount owed to him, unless the transaction is carried out by an auctioneer, when this will be the depositary (as determined in the sole paragraph of article 38 of the federal law 9610/1998).
 Mariana Maia is a Visual Artist and works with different languages. He has a degree in Art History, with a Masters in Arts from the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ. She works as an Arts teacher in the public school system in Rio de Janeiro. She also works as Curator, Cultural Producer and Educating Artist at MUHCAB - Museum of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture.

 Artist nominated for the Pipa Prize (2024). Resident at Casa da Escada Colorida/ RJ (2024). He also participated in the International Artistic Residency In Rio, there is a city that separates us (2021), Cunts Collective. He acted in and scripted the short films Trouxa de Ouro (2021), Quatro Ôrí (2021), Mãe do Entardecer (2020), CoroAção (2019), We Have Seat (2018), which were shown at several festivals and exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. She was Curator of the exhibitions Contemporânea Ancestral (2003), Abarcar Origens de Aparecida Silva (2022), 1st Margem Visual Festival: peripheral performance on the network (2021). Participated in group exhibitions: Brazilian Abolitionists (2024) at MAR; Mãemória (2024) at IPN; Public Walk (2023) at Caixa Cultural; Maternity (2023) at SESC Duque de Caxias; Latin Artists (2022) at ArtRio; Pixinguinha: a baton maestro (2022) at MAR. He held the solo exhibition CoroAção (2019) at Galeria Desvio/ RJ.
