 In accordance with article 38, caput of federal law 9610/1998, as well as article 14 of the Berne Convention, promulgated in Brazil through decree 75699/1975, the owner of this artistic work, when commercializing it, must transfer it to the artist or his successors, as a resale right, the amount corresponding to 50% (fifty) of the profit that may be earned with this new commercial transaction (resale) within a period of 30 days. If the author does not receive his resale right within the stipulated period, the seller is considered depositary of the amount owed to him, unless the transaction is carried out by an auctioneer, when this will be the depositary (as determined in the sole paragraph of article 38 of the federal law 9610/1998).

 Leoa , a 26-year-old artist from Rio de Janeiro, has her roots in Bangú, a suburb of Rio de Janeiro.
 Her proximity to art is a family influence, thanks to her father, who, since her childhood, brought her closer to painting and music. For many years of her life she had contact with the landscapes that Antônio (her father) painted, and today she develops her research based on the ancestral connection and her experience in the suburbs, bringing to painting landscapes that cross her as the painter walks through the neighborhoods that surround it.
 His poetics have been giving new meaning to his internal concerns and experiences, with the idea of sharing and mirroring the processes, textures and pictorial layers to others, to the world.
 He has participated as an artist at the Bispo do Rosário Museum, in the exhibition "We are all crazy, for each other" and at the opening of Madureira's first gallery with his first solo, "Revivencias”. Rio, Leona participated, being the first woman to have a solo exhibition in the library's gallery. In her latest works, she participated in the collective Zonas Urbanas do Pensamento, at the Cultural Center of the Attorney General's Office of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
